11 Remarkably Simplistic Ways To Make Extra Money

Irresistibly promising and painless opportunities to increase your income

Money and time seem to be the two things that evade most people. Making money seems so hard, but thanks to the internet, it’s easier than ever to do. It’s that most of the easiest ways to make some extra cash are not shared very often. I’ve scoured the internet and found twelve easy ways to make money that anyone can do. I’ve even done a few of these myself.

1. Sell Your Old Stuff

A tried and true method of making an easy quick buck is to sell a few of your possessions. It could be a yard sale or on e-bay, but either way, many people love to buy items at a bargain. Nowadays, it’s even easier than ever to sell your stuff. Many people are selling used items online on Facebook Marketplace, eBay, or Poshmark.

2. Rent Out Your Stuff

Not quite ready to part with some of your possession? Well, you can rent them out instead of selling them. Apps like Loanables, StyleLend, and Turo let people rent out their possessions. Renting items helps people lower their carbon footprint and save money. People are renting out everything from designer clothes to cars. Plus renting has the bonus of becoming a possible continual source of income!

3. Advertise For Companies Using Your Car

Ever notice a car with a large advertisement on it and wonder what that was about? Well, that person is getting paid a few hundred dollars a month to have that advertisement on their car. The longer commute you have or the more you drive your car, the more money the company is willing to pay you.

It doesn’t get much easier than this. Once your car has the advertisement installed, you can live your life as normal. All you have to do is collect a monthly check. This article from DollarSprout.com lists five companies that want to advertise using your car.

4. Write on Quora

There are many ways to make money on Quora, but the easiest way is to join their partner program. The Quora partner program pays people to ask questions. I asked a question 7 months ago, and one of my questions actually made me $1. That isn’t much money. But if I had asked the suggested 10 questions a day, I would have most likely made a lot more money by now. The only caveat is that you need to get invited into the program.

If you get creative, there are plenty of other ways to make money on Quora as well. You can use it to build your email list, let people know about your services, or make money with affiliate marketing. There are many ways to make easy money, long-term.

5. Tutor

Tutors are more important now more than ever. I used to tutor online. It’s a great way to make extra money by helping someone else learn to do something you already know. There are several tutoring websites like:

  1. TutorMe.com
  2. Wyzant.com
  3. The Princeton Review

Even if you don’t think you have any skills to tutor, you can still teach or tutor English online. Many people around the world are trying to learn English. Some websites will pay you to either teach English or to talk to people in English to help them practice. You don’t need to know any other language than English to do this. Two websites that will pay you to help people learn English are:

  1. Cambly is an English tutoring website
  2. VIPKids is an English teaching website.

6. Freelance

Most people know of freelancing and many have tried their hand at it. Freelancing can be simple if you already have a marketable skill set that others are looking for. There are many websites that help freelancers find clients like Upwork and Fiverr. But some freelancers don’t like to use these sites. Instead, they try to build a network using social media and meetups to build their clientele. That way, they have more control over negotiating their price and don’t have to share the profits with a website. Upwork and Fiverr make many people compete for the same job.

7. Work a Gig Economy Job

One of the easiest jobs to get started in is a gig economy job. If you have a car or even a bike, you will be able to make some extra cash each week doing one of these jobs. There are a variety of different gig jobs. You can be a driver for Uber or Lyft. You can deliver food for UberEats, DoorDash, or GrubHub. You can do odd jobs or handyman work on apps like Taskrabbit or Zaarly.

You can grocery shop for people using apps like InstaCart or Shipt. You can deliver packages using apps like Roadie and Amazon Flex. There are so many options when it comes to the gig economy. In case I didn’t list one that may be of interest to you, check out AppJobs.com to see what other jobs are available.

8. Become a Website or App Tester

Websites and apps need testing before launch day. Now you can be a part of the process by helping to test out the newest websites and apps. Websites like UserTesting.com and TesterWork.com pay you to test out apps and websites. The best part is these jobs are easy, all you need is a microphone and internet connection. The website records your screen and voice as you review the website or app. Not only are you helping a new business, but you also get to know about the next big thing before anyone else.

9. Make Money Charging Electric Scooters

Ever hopped on an electric scooter and wonder how they remain charged? Well, ponder no longer! You can be the one to charge them. Lime pays between $5 to $12 per scooter you charge. You need to sign up on their website. Once approved, you can go around town picking up and dropping off the charged scooters.

You can also make money as the Fleet Manager for Bird’s electric scooters. Being a fleet manager involves more than only charging the scooters. Bird pays people who have a large vehicle, storage space, and business background to manage several scooters in a neighborhood. The fleet manager handles all repairs and charges the scooters. More responsibility comes with higher pay. The payout was about $1,500 a week (with a fleet of about 100 scooters in the US).

10. Get Paid To Listen to Playlists

This might be one of the easiest ways to make money on this list. Many companies will pay you to listen to music. Some will ask you to rate the song afterward. Different sites will pay you with cash or gift cards. A few of the companies that are paying people to listen to music are:

  1. Slicethepie
